This body of work is a reflection on returning. Returning to creativity, to curiosity, to community, and ultimately, to myself.
Over the past two years, my life has been shaped by profound transformation. Through loss and growth, uncertainty and discovery, I found my way back to the parts of myself that had been waiting patiently beneath the surface. The artist, the explorer, the person willing to trust her own voice.
These works reflect that journey. They are records of change and resilience. They are odes to friendship, independence, finding love, and the courage required to begin again. Made with natural ink, they will continue their journey of transformation. The colors may fade and change over time. This is one of the most sacred parts of my process. These are living, breathing works of art.
This exhibition also marks a personal return. This is the first body of work I am presenting as I return to my maiden name, Perry. Return is a reflection and a homecoming.
More than anything, this exhibition is an ode to becoming who we were meant to be. It’s about the winding path back to ourselves and the unexpected beauty we find along the way.

Night Driving
